Referral program terms

Rules for joining the FinSignal referral program, crediting and adjusting commissions, and manual payouts.

This is an informative translation. The Czech version of this document is legally binding. The service is intended mainly for users in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Effective from 22 October 2026

1. Who can join

Any registered user who accepts this specific version of the terms can activate a referral account free of charge. Activation is not a Premium feature. Tracking covers both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Payouts are for Czech or Slovak self-employed persons or Czech or Slovak business entities with a verified accounting document and are always paid in Czech koruna (CZK) by bank transfer. An author, a non-business natural person, other cross-border status and an unclear tax regime remain on payout hold pending a separate assessment. FinSignal may suspend the account if these terms or the law are breached or if there is reasonable suspicion of abuse.

2. Rates and commission window

  • Direct level: 50 % of the eligible base of every payment actually received from a referred customer.
  • Second level: 10 % of the eligible base of the first 5 eligible customers in the branch of a partner you referred directly.
  • The commission window lasts 365 days from the customer’s first paid invoice. A trial, zero, manually granted or unpaid invoice does not create a commission.
  • Commission is calculated from the amount excluding VAT, after discounts, credits and refunds. The current rate does not change retroactively for an item that already exists.
  • In each direct branch, L2 slots are assigned to at most 5 unique eligible downstream customers. Each of their eligible invoices within the 365-day commission window can create an L2 item. The sixth and any further customer remains a direct L1 commission of 50 % but does not create another upstream 10 % slot.
  • An illustration of one full branch with each customer’s first eligible invoice gives up to 100 % as the sum of rates from six separate bases: 50 % L1 + 5 × 10 % L2. Every further eligible invoice of the L1 customer and of each of the five occupied unique L2 slots can create another commission within the relevant 365-day window, so the six illustrative invoices are not a total commission limit. The money commission is calculated from each base separately; the sum equals 100 % of one base only if all six illustrative bases are the same amount. In a similar illustration, three full branches give up to 300 % across the first 18 invoices (3 × 6), not 300 % of one or three payments. Repeated invoices may bring further commissions within their windows; this is not guaranteed income.

3. Attribution and consent

The link uses a signed technical identifier valid for at most 90 days. Attribution arises only on a new registration and only with explicit consent to referral tracking. The first eligible click applies under the program rules; an existing customer account is never reassigned retroactively.

4. Hold, refunds and disputes

Every commission item has a 30-day protection period. A refund, chargeback or lost dispute creates a corresponding negative adjustment; an amount already paid out is not deleted from the history. If a dispute is later decided in FinSignal’s favour, the eligible part may be credited again as a separate adjustment.

5. Payout

  • The minimum available balance for the first request is CZK 3,000.
  • The first request requires at least two different net-positive paying customer identities.
  • Payout happens only after the recipient is verified, with no active fraud hold, and after the accounting document is approved under the chosen payout process.
  • Amounts are stated in CZK and may be subject to the recipient’s tax and accounting obligations. For a manual payout review the referral provides an accounting document, typically an invoice, for a closed settlement period; no document is required at activation. The date and particulars of the document must match the actual supply and the recipient’s legal regime — a yearly or less frequent payout does not by itself postpone statutory deadlines. The exact document and tax regime may differ depending on the recipient’s status and applicable law. Self-billing and automatic VAT/withholding processing are not part of the MVP.

In the current version payouts are manual bank transfers outside the application and outside Stripe Connect. A request first atomically reserves the eligible ledger items and notifies the administrator; after verification the admin records the reference, the date and their profile, and the partner receives a confirmation e-mail. FinSignal does not store IBANs, bank details or KYC documents in the referral dashboard. Connect is only a possible future automation adapter.

6. Prohibited use and abuse prevention

It is prohibited to create your own or fictitious accounts, use your own link, offer incentives without prior consent, use misleading advertising, spam, brand bidding or cookie stuffing, circumvent the limit of five upstream slots or present the commission as certain income. The Server checks for self-referral codes, sponsor cycles, duplicate payment fingerprints and risky matches. A shared IP address or device does not by itself mean automatic rejection, but it may lead to a manual hold/review.

7. Privacy and data visibility

The partner sees only their aggregated clicks, registrations, confirmed commissions, slots and payout status. They do not see the referred customer’s e-mail, Stripe ID, exact IP address, payment fingerprint or other personal data. Technical risk identifiers are stored only as HMAC values with a separate server secret.

8. Changes and termination

A new rate or a new version of the terms applies to new activations and new attribution cases; an existing account is not overwritten without a recorded acceptance of the new version. FinSignal may temporarily switch the program off or terminate an account. Eligible items not yet paid out are assessed according to their status, refunds, holds and applicable statutory obligations.

9. Contact and documents

Send questions about the program through FinSignal’s contact channel. These terms supplement the terms of service and the privacy policy; in case of conflict, the specific referral program rules prevail for the referral relationship.
